Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any experience to take a firearms class?

No experience is required. We offer beginner classes built for first-time shooters who have never handled a firearm, along with baseline and advanced courses for experienced shooters who want to sharpen their skills.

What should I bring to my first pistol class?

Bring your handgun, at least three magazines, a sturdy belt, eye protection, ear protection, and the ammunition count listed for your course. If you do not own gear yet, contact us before class and we will help you get set up. New shooters are always welcome.

Where are classes held near Tulsa?

Live-fire classes are held at outdoor ranges near Mounds, Oklahoma, just south of the Tulsa metro. Concealed carry (SDA) classroom sessions are hosted at partner locations such as Scheels in Tulsa. Our primary address is 10700 OK-16, Beggs, OK 74421.

Do you offer concealed carry (SDA) training in Oklahoma?

Yes. Our Concealed Carry (CCW/SDA) class covers firearm safety, the fundamentals of handgun shooting, and Oklahoma self-defense law so you can carry legally and confidently.

How much do classes cost?

Most classes range from $150 to $250 depending on the course. Concealed carry starts at $150, baseline pistol is around $200, and advanced rifle is around $250. Private and custom curriculum pricing is available on request.

Do you offer private or beginner instruction?

Yes. We offer private one-on-one sessions, small-group private classes, and dedicated beginner instruction for individuals, couples, and groups who prefer a more personalized pace.

Who is the instructor?

All classes are led by founder Cristian Barron, a United States Marine Corps veteran, former member of the Marine Corps Shooting Team, and a national champion competitive pistol shooter based in Oklahoma.
