Meet Cristian, Owner/Operator of Resilient Tactical

Im from Wichita Falls Texas and im 29 years old with a wife and a beautiful daughter.

I grew up having a lot of friends with firearms but never had any in our household as a kid. It wasn’t until I joined the Marine Corps that I held a rifle of that caliber. I knew I had a special skill when it was range week in boot camp and on qualification day I shot the highest in my platoon. That then carried on to the fleet where every range I would shoot range high and it was evident that I needed to do something with my skills. I then tried out for the Marine corps shooting team in 2017 where I received a medal in rifle. I went to the Marine Corps Championship match in Quantico, VA and knew I had to try my best and train to earn a spot on the Team. This was also the first time I ever held a 1911 .45 cal pistol, and for some reason it just clicked.

I earned a spot on the Marine Corps Pistol team and the rest is history. I was the first to earn my Campaign Cover out of the new team members that the shooting teams wear. When that happened it was a damn good day to wear what others have earned and worn before me. This truly confirmed my purpose.

In 2017 I won several Pistol competitions across the East coast as well as winning Nationals, held in Camp Perry Ohio. I’ve competed with and against the best in the nation and my hard work and focus paid off for me that year. As a “tyro”, winning Nationals was a dream come true, and an honor to myself and my family. I knew I had a gift. I knew I had a skill.

I knew I needed to take this beyond the Marine Corps and out into the civilian chapter in my life. With that in mind, I created Resilient Tactical. My goal is to create better shooters and guide those who already have the passion and train. I want you to be a part of the Resilient Tactical team to spread knowledge about being pro 2A and what it means to be a proud patriot in this country. This nation has done amazing things for my family and I’m honored to have served my country in the Marine Corps. And I’m honored to help you become comfortable and confident while training to be a better shooter.
